Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.

Charlotte is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Charlotte follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

On Wednesday, July 22, you installed a new aluminum rim on my truck. It was a brand-new rim with a protective film on the face to prevent scratches. During installation, the mechanic placed it on the floor and scratched it. Furthermore, he didn't install the tire pressure sensor in the new rim. It means that you sold me a scratched rim at the price of a new one, stole the pressure sensor, and charged me for installation and balancingβwork I had to pay for again when another shop installed the new sensor. Unbelievable, your company has been performing wheel replacements for years, multiple times a day. Your wall is covered with mechanic training certificates. Yet, absolutely everything your mechanic touched was botched. I'm asking for a refund of the installation and balancing charges; I'm willing to pay only $325 for the rim itself.

My company has been using Colony Tire since we started and we would not use anyone else! Quick service, fair pricing, and tires always in stock. George is great to deal with. Their roadside guys are very quick, and my drivers like going to their shop because it is clean and easy to get in and out!

We just started using this company at our Charlotte, NC location and the very first time they came out, the tire tech Mike P. was great!! I was very impressed. Being in the heavy duty repair field for 18 years I've seen and lot of tire guys. He was by far the best. I highly recommend them.

Had a steer tire blow out on me coming down the highway and George came through in the clutch. Great customer service, good price and prompt service. Got me off the side of the road within 40 minutes. Even checked up on me after the fact to make sure I was good. They definitely have a customer in me.
